What started from a little sketch of a girl’s face on the back of a math paper instantly turned into this conceptual piece. She is based off synesthesia, a condition in which one sense is simultaneously perceived as if by one or more additional senses. For example, I feel certain colors and I can see them when I feel happy, sad, comforted, etc. I also feel and see certain colors when I hear specific sounds or see numbers. Synesthesia is overall a positive sensation for me and I experience it most often in crowded areas such as the city.
