For my final piece in Fine Arts IV we were asked to create a “double self portrait” piece involving a world/social issue. I made this piece in response to COVID since we were still in the first lockdown and it was my senior year of high school. I wanted to depict what it was like to be forced inside with little social interaction. Although it is important to follow guidelines, wear a mask, and stay inside, the uncertainty and isolation the virus brought was difficult. It made everything much more frustrating to deal with.
